Local Cross Country Skiing and Backcountry Touring

These pictures were taken at the top of Mc Clure Pass: You can park in the parking lot on the Southwest side of the top of the pass. Take the trail approximently 1.5 miles to the gate. Most people think this is the end of the trail, but you can go around the gate (no motorized vehicles ) another 1.5 miles there you will see no trespassing signs, this is the end of the road for non property owners. This trail is for beginners to medium skiers, but leads to extreme skiing. One picture is looking north at Huntsmans Ridge that leads to extreme skiing Be safe!
